Soirée Sun-set is all about vibrant creativity, a touch of mystique, and flawless execution. Organizing a closed-door music festival in Montréal within just two weeks was a whirlwind adventure that taught me the magic of consistent, eye-catching design and posts. As a one-person social media dynamo, I created captivating visuals that spotlighted the brilliant DJ duo Fredo Valencia, igniting excitement and curiosity.
Balancing logistics and hosting over forty guests solo, all while keeping an air of mystery, felt like juggling flaming torches with a smile. This exhilarating challenge proved that with enough creativity and dedication, any event can become the talk of the town. I wanted Soirée Sunset to be the go-to for all the music gatekeepers who wanted the most curated music experiences, and I believe I was able to emulate that.

For Soiree Sun-set, I was tasked with a unique promotional approach. Personal invitations were extended to local music enthusiasts, emphasizing exclusivity and fostering word-of-mouth buzz. Engaging graphics and cryptic social media posts played on the desire for inclusion in something exclusive. I also designed the logo for the DJs.
Collaborations with local influencers discreetly spread the word, while digitized flyers in private and curated social media stories attracted a well-connected crowd. This strategy highlighted the event's mystique and exclusivity, transforming Soiree Sun-set into a sought-after experience for music aficionados looking to be part of an intimate and memorable gathering.

Girl & Her Plate is a vibrant blend of determination, creativity, and a hearty dose of humor. Producing an independent vodcast on local food spots and culture revealed that even a solo venture can whip up magic on a shoestring budget. As the host, social media manager, and graphic designer, I crafted engaging visuals that needed to reflect both my personality and a stand-alone brand, unlike anything I’ve created before.
On top of the video-audio experience, adding an after-hours, readable version on Substack offered a deeper, more thoughtful experience. I wanted Girl & Her Plate to be multi-faceted. Ultimately, Girl & Her Plate turns dreams into impactful and memorable content with a can-do attitude and a sprinkle of chaos.

Threadlightly isn't just a thrift store; it's my community-driven movement that started in 2017 as an initiative to give back to the Earth & Community. The dozens of donation drives have saved tonnes of clothing from landfill oblivion.
From its roots in school to a physical store in Queensway, Singapore, and now thriving online, Threadlightly maintains a dynamic brand for those looking for a sustainable alternative. The ever-changing graphics I maintain, capture the essence of different eras while staying attuned to clientele trends. Profits go beyond the register, supporting local and now international causes, cementing Threadlightly as not just a store but a beacon of community and sustainability.
